The Chilean Science Agency (ANID) will open a call for postdoctoral research funding during March 2022 to carry out postdoctoral research in higher education institutions.
The objective of this research funding is to stimulate the productivity and future scientific leadership of people recently initiated in research and who have an academic degree of Doctor, by carrying out research projects with a view to their employment in the academic or other field and their interaction and collaboration with consolidated research groups (ANID, 2021).
Institutional sponsorship is required for the application and the Department of Social Work at UC opens a call for researchers interested in securing sponsorship. Interested applicants need to send:
-Certificate of doctoral degree (obtained between 2019 and 2021)
-Summary of research project (maximum 500 words)
-Letter of intention (maximum 1000 words).describing the academic trajectory and motivations for applying to the sponsorship of the Department of Social Work at UC, indicating the area of research (inclusive policies and interventions, justice and socio-legal interventions, well-being and organizational interventions, mental health and clinical interventions) and the professor from the Department who would act as a sponsor, who needs to be contacted previously by the applicant
The Sponsoring Professor is the one who has the responsibility of directly supervising the academic execution of the project once awarded. You can find the list of professors of the School of Social Work here.

Selected candidates will be informed during April and should commit to apply to the ANID competition, under the supervision of their Sponsoring Professor.
